Over recent years, police forces around the country have recognised the value of dogs not only as crime fighters, but also in helping officers and staff with their well-being after traumatic incidents. Whilst it is not unusual to see our crime fighting four-legged friends at Leominster Police station, we don't get to pet them, mainly due to their really big teeth!
This is where Oscar Kilo 9 welfare dogs come in!! They offer a time out for officers to de-stress and talk, which as you can see from the picture, they absolutely love (both the officers and the dogs).
When the OK9 visit is over the dogs get to cuddle up with their favourite toy
